Composition

Aromatica Eau de Toilette was inspired by a journey to Rome. The composition holds echoes of the pine-covered slopes of the Aventine Hill, the meadows along the Via Appia, the citrus gardens of Palazzo Barberini, mornings in the Prati district and the freshness of Maderno’s fountain in St Peter’s Square.

The fragrance evokes the freshness of the air in the Eternal City, where pure mountain water has flowed through the Aqua Virgo aqueduct for over two thousand years.

“With this fragrance, I wanted to capture the freshness of the air in Rome, a city set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Apennines, filled with the scent of pine trees on the Aventine Hill and citrus fruit in the gardens of patrician families. I remember Rome’s ‘nasoni’ particularly fondly: drinking fountains flowing with fresh mountain water. Aromatica is the scent of this Eternal City.”
